Governor-elect Youngkin launches application portal for jobs in his administration

Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin launched a portal Tuesday which offers individuals the opportunity to apply for a job in his administration as governor when he takes office in January.
“To accomplish his plan from day one and work hard for all Virginians every day thereafter, the governor-elect will assemble the strongest team in Virginia history, made up of individuals from all walks of life,” indicates the email that was sent to Youngkin supporters on Tuesday night.
The portal will be used to fill top-to-bottom political appointment positions in Youngkin’s new administration. The governor-elect’s transition team, which has yet to be officially announced, will be tasked with reviewing the slate and filling positions.
