Modus Create acquires Promptworks

Modus Create, founded in 2011, is based in Reston, Virginia. The company has 256 employees listed on LinkedIn. Promptwork’s areas of expertise include Ruby, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Agile Development, Test Driven Development, Internet of Things (IoT), AI, Machine Learning, Python, React, React -native, API design, JavaScript and mobile applications.

The deal is Modus Create’s third acquisition of the year, having acquired Atlas Authority and Tweag in May and June, respectively.

The acquisition of Promptworks will strengthen Modus’ product development capabilities and establish a foothold in the Philadelphia area, according to the company. Promptworks CEO Greg Sterndale and other senior executives will join Modus Create as advisors, the company said.
