NBC’s 2022 slate includes three Tom Brady games

The NBC schedule includes 18 Sundays and a pair of Thursdays. Like every year since SNSF migrated to NBC in 2006, it’s a great schedule.

It starts with the Thursday night kickoff game in Los Angeles, with the Rams hosting the Bills. Scheduled games end at the same venue, with a Week 17 game between the two teams that share SoFi Stadium, the Rams and Chargers. This game is subject to flexible rules.

Along the way, the Buccaneers and quarterback Tom Brady land on NBC three times, week one, week four and Christmas Eve in Arizona.

As usual, the last game of the regular season will be selected after the first seventeen weeks.

The Buccaneers have three NBC games, as do the Cowboys and Packers. The flexible option can obviously affect the total number of appearances for each team. Granted, the Bucs wouldn’t have had the same prime-time presence had Brady’s 40-day retirement stayed.

Here’s the full list from NBC, with all games played on Sundays, unless otherwise noted:
