Red Hat delivers Application Foundations for Kubernetes

Red Hat launches Red Hat Application Foundations, a set of application services that work with the company’s OpenShift Kubernetes platform and promise to accelerate containerized application development across hybrid and multicloud environments.

Announced on April 25, Red Hat Application Foundations serves as a toolkit for developers building and integrating application and data services as part of their application and infrastructure modernization efforts. It provides developers with an integrated solution to connect applications inside and outside the container environment. Its application services and components are designed to help developers take advantage of cloud-native application models and accelerate application development in hybrid cloud or multicloud environments.

Enabling modernization models through microservices, APIs, and event-driven architectures, Red Hat Application Foundations includes components for high-performance data streaming, API management, service connectivity, runtime environments, and lightweight frameworks, as well as other features. Red Hat Application Foundations is available now. Red Hat customers can contact their account manager to configure the bundle.
