US Soccer announces application window for 2022 B License Coaching Education Courses to open March 17

CHICAGO (March 15, 2022) – US Soccer has announced that the next application window for the Fall 2022 B License Coach Education Courses will open Thursday, March 17 at 12:00 p.m. CT and run through April 1 at 12:00 p.m. CT . Course start dates, in-person meeting dates and locations are available now.

As part of the upcoming window, US Soccer will hold nine B license courses across the country, the most ever offered in a single window.

“We are delighted with the high level of interest in the B license course,” said Didier Chambaron, Director of Coach Education at US Soccer. “The new course structure provides growth throughout the education process and allows for more sustainable learning.”

Course B will be held over a period of six months (July to December 2022) and will consist of a combination of virtual learning and in-person meetings. Classes will begin with a virtual meeting on July 11, while the two planned in-person meetings will each take place over a four-day period in August and November.

Candidates admitted to the License B course will be exempted from 50% of their tuition fees thanks to the Jill Ellis Scholarship Fundwhich was established in the fall of 2019. Additionally, as part of US Soccer’s ongoing efforts to advance participation and opportunities for women, the B License Course in-person meetings are taking place in Kansas City from 22 to August 25 and from November 7 to 10 will be reserved for women.

The application window will run from March 17 to April 1, 2022. Interested applicants should review the course details and pre-application checklist in the points below. All applications must be submitted through the American Football Learning Center.

Participants in US Soccer’s National Coaching Schools will have the opportunity to earn a nationally recognized license from US Soccer, member of the national association FIFA and the governing body of soccer in all its forms in the United States. United States.
