WBJEEB JEPBN 2022 Application Form will be released today at wbjeeb.in – Check Fees, Eligibility

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Board (WBJEB) has released the Joint Entry Application Form for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course for the year 2022. Registration will start from February 24, 2022, while the last registration date will be March 5, 2022, until 6:30 p.m. The exam registration fee is INR 3000/-. The mode of application will be online, and the tentative date of the exam is May 15, 2022, in the morning shift from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Candidates can find more details by logging in to the official website of WBJEEB , who is http://www.wbjeeb.nic.in.

After registration is complete, applicants can correct their application online and download their amended confirmation page from March 8, 2022. The admission card can be downloaded from May 11 to 15, 2022.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to sit for the exam-

  1. Candidates must be of Indian nationality.
  • Candidates must have qualified 10 + 2 exams from a recognized examination board. They must also be qualified in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and have obtained registration and certification as a Regular Nursing Midwife (RNRM) from the National Nursing Council of a particular Indian state.
  • There is no maximum age requirement for candidates working in a private institution.
  • Applicants employed in government institutions have a maximum age limit of 53, unless special permission is granted by the District Health Society (DHS)/JS(N)/Secretary (Nursing)/Higher.
  • In-Service Candidates (WBs) must provide a ‘Letter of Authorization’ at the time of admission from the relevant authority as per the West Bengal Nursing Staff Rules 2009. For this, they must contact the Nursing Branch Health Nursing and Family Welfare Department of West Bengal Government.
  • For candidates employed in a private institution, work experience is not mandatory.
  • State agents must have a minimum of 3 years of continuous and regularized experience.
  • If a candidate “passed”, it means that they have qualified for both the theory and practical exams separately. It would also mean that they have completed all program requirements, including pre-admission to the internship.
  • Universities recognized by the board are displayed on the WBJEEB website. Candidates must be qualified by these recognized commissions and universities to sit for the exam.

Examination model

The test will be an objective-type exam with a maximum of 100 points. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. The language of instruction will be English and there will be four options for each question. The program includes anatomy, physiology, psychology, etc. with specialized subjects such as pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, etc. Applicants are advised to check the official website wbjeeb.nic.in for more information.
