Microsoft 365 subscriptions offer a host of utilities, including for Apple users. Here’s how to access and install Microsoft 365 Apps if you’re using Apple products.
Microsoft 365 subscription plans bring together a range of powerful apps and services under one account, and the benefits aren’t limited to Windows users. Microsoft has developed standalone versions for many of its popular 365 apps for iPad, iPhone and Mac users, while a suite of cloud-based editions is also available for subscribers using Apple technologies. .

For example, Microsoft offers the following iOS and iPad versions of its software and services, as listed in Figure A:

Mac and iPad owners with corresponding Microsoft 365 subscriptions can access and download these apps using the Apple App Store. iPad and iPhone users can also look for the Microsoft Office app (editors’ choice) from Microsoft, which bundles Word, Excel and PowerPoint into a single “app” download. With the Microsoft Office app, iPad and iPhone users can also create and sign PDF documents. Another option available to iPad and iPhone users is to download the Microsoft 365 Mobile Apps Pack from the Apple App Store, which installs the Microsoft Office Apps Pack as well as OneDrive, Outlook, and OneNote. in a single app.

Mac users need not worry about being forgotten, as Microsoft offers many apps that can be installed and used locally on macOS machines, including:

Professionals with Mac and Microsoft 365 subscriptions can access and download the corresponding programs through the Apple App Store. Just like iPad and iPhone users, Microsoft offers a Microsoft 365 app that bundles multiple programs into a single app. The Microsoft 365 program available in the Apple App Store for macOS users includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive.

When iPad, iPhone, and Mac users just want to take advantage of the web-based versions of the tools that come with their Microsoft 365 subscriptions, they can do so by signing into their Microsoft 365 account. Microsoft 365 login here: https://www.office.com.

Another option to sideload Microsoft 365 Apps, depending on the Microsoft 365 account in place, is to use the Install Office drop-down button located in the upper right corner, as also shown in Figure B. Clicking the button gives you two options: Install Office 365 applications including Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. ; or Other installation options, where users can specify a different language or individual applications to be installed on the local machine.
